Trip 1
A one day trip to a very rich regions of Oman,, the trip started from muscat to Barkah city which is around 1 hour driving from muscat where we met our friend Dr. Nejomi,, a mysterious guy who worked a doctor in a valley that places between the mountains like 30klm form the main road. the guy has many many interesting stories to tell, he spent about year now in that location which gave hem alot of experience about Oman and it people...
we started our visit by Nakhal village but visiting Nakhal fort, also called Husn Al Heem the fort considered as one of the largest forts in the Middle East, the most thing that attract me there is the shadows the sun is doing a real paints inside the rooms of the fort..
The next station was Ain Athoar,, which is nice spring that surrounded with palm trees all the way and have a very clear water the place is full of tourists and visitors
The third station was to Alristaq city which was the capital of Oman on previous areas, the city looks quite with some how modern life not like what i expect...., we met alot of sudanese doctors who live there and we had a delicious meal them before we went to the Ain al kasfa which was a big spring that give hot and cold water in same time
then we took a long trip like 35klm off road until we reached our friend Nigomi place of work in the middle of the vallay,, then we take the risk to climb up to Kiwan village (1750m ) above the sea level ,,where we found an amazing fruit gardens at the tip, i was never expected to find a a little paradise in that place and in that height
Trip 2
Nizwa considered as one of the old cities in Oman , around 2 hours driving from muscat the still has that smell of the history ,,,the fort and old souk still showing the old ornaments ...
The Nizwa Fort a huge castle in Nizwa. built in the1650s by the second Ya’rubi Imam; Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'rubi, The main bulk of the fort took about 12 years to complete....
Aljabel Alakder fund on Barkat almouz road(30min from Nizwa) extend for more than 2000meters above the sea level, the weather there is awesome how ever the road is very steep !!!
i spent a lovely day cruising around these areas ...inside the fart and the souk i was concerning more about this shadows and light...the place is really making amazing paints with the light
