Read MoreDia Khalil is an explorer, and a photographer.
Dia Khalil, a Sudanese petroleum geologist by profession, photographer by passion. Started practicing photography since 2007 with a major interest in travel & street photography. I traveled around Sudan & outside of it as part of my job and that opened my eyes to beauty that I hasn't experienced before, fascinating by people and their stories, landscapes and scenery. I started taking photos and tell stories throw photography with a simple camera and shared my work with friends and family who encouraged me to nurture my newly discovered talent.
Hundreds of photographs later, I held my first exhibition in collaboration with my talented friend Ala Kheir. The joint exhibition- Feel the color- was a fusion of subjects, techniques and raw photography.
“Feel the color” open my eyes and my community to photography world therefore I fallowed it by many exhibitions like (stories from Suakin) in 2015 and in (Expressions) in 2019
